Period (menstrual) poverty is a highly overlooked issue which is gaining some traction only recently. We need effective policies to address the concerns surrounding menstruation so that we can lift our societies out of poverty more effectively. To achieve this, it is vital for the government, practitioners, academicians, people who menstruate and various other stakeholders to collaborate to figure out the associated problems from different angles and work towards mitigating them.
